About the Founder:

Jessica Wilson is the Owner and Lead Grant Consultant at Wilson Grant Consulting. She founded the firm in 2022 to make grant funding more approachable and sustainable for nonprofit leaders — particularly those wearing multiple hats and working with limited resources.

Prior to launching Wilson Grant Consulting, Jessica served as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at St. Edward’s University, where she secured more than $8 million in corporate and private foundation funding. Her work focused on building long-term funder relationships and aligning institutional priorities with philanthropic partners. Earlier in her career, Jessica served as Director of Development at Parks Youth Ranch in Houston, where she led a significant expansion of private foundation support for the organization.
 

​Education & Professional Background

Jessica holds an MFA from the University of Houston and a BA in English from Texas Tech University. She is also a graduate of The George Foundation’s Excellence for Nonprofit Leadership Program (2015).​​
